Kathryn Ann Tyson, 70, of Fairfield Bay, passed away February 23, 2016. She was born February 24, 1945 to William Glenn and Billie Joan Godsby Tyson in Falls City, Nebraska. Kathryn spent her career as a nurse. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, loved to watch daytime soap operas and doing puzzles and spending time with her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her son William "Bill" James and wife Lori of Shirley, daughters Rebecca (Becky) James Clark of Fairfield Bay and Elizabeth (Beth Ann) James of Fairfield Bay; grandchildren Courtney Perry, Daniel Clark, Jr., Megan Clark, Christopher James, William Michael Fuller, Jesse James, Frank James, Wyatt James, James Lott and Emily Lott. Kathryn is also survived by great-grandchildren Jayla Jackson, Jaida Jackson, Kendra Clark and Zenneth Clark; siblings Thomas Tyson of Heber Springs, Timothy Tyson of Huntsville, AL, and William Patrick Tyson of Fayetteville, AR; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation is Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. Funeral Services are Saturday, February27, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church with Brother Kirk Hardy officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.
