Margie Lou Dobbs Akers, 76, of Heber Springs, passed away March 23, 2016. She was born on February 1, 1940 in Fayette, Alabama. Margie was of the Baptist faith and worked for Kodak before retiring.
Left to cherish her memory are brother Johnny Haggard and wife Karen; sisters Mary Bogard, Margaret Lawson and husband Rickie and Frankie Thomas and husband Donald. Margie was also survived by ex-husband Roy Akers of Alabama and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents Clarence Haggard and Mildred Haggard; sons Robert Tilton Bogard, Jr. and Travis Bogard.
Visitation is Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Pangburn First Assembly of God. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on March 26, with Brother Mark Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery in Drasco, Arkansas.
Pall Bearers are Johnny Haggard, Kevin Haggard, Rickie Lawson, Jr., Chris Clark, Austin Rackley and Larry Bogard. Honorary Pall Bearers are Rickie Lawson, Sr., Donald Thomas and Amber Maxie and Josh Rackley.
