Obituary for Kenneth Lee Ellis Sr.

Kenneth Lee Ellis, Sr., 75, of Jerusalem, passed away June 27, 2017. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on September 27, 1941 to Mark Ray and Venious L. Mcelyea Ellis. Kenneth served in the United States Navy and was a minister in The Church of God of Prophecy. He enjoyed flower gardening and cooking.
Left to cherish Kenneth's memory are his children Kenneth L. "Kip" Ellis Jr. of Gloucester, Massachusetts; Keith A. Ellis and wife Elizabeth of Chicago, Illinois; grandchildren Jake Ellis, Sebastian Ellis, and Audrianna Ellis; and 1 great- grandchild. Kenneth is also survived by his siblings Charles Ellis, Beatrice Burkett, Alline Thompson, Viola Webb, Elizabeth Edwards, Barbara Yarbrough and Bobby Robinson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father Mark Ray Ellis and mother Venious L. Mcelyea Ellis.
Visitation will be Friday, June 30, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Clinton Funeral Service. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Danny Baker officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. at Roe Cemetery in Roe, Arkansas.
