Buna Ann Honeycutt Hodges, 73, of Shirley, passed away July 8, 2017. She was born in Marianna, Arkansas on October 12, 1943 to Alvin Charles Honeycutt, Sr. and Joyce Tilley Honeycutt. Buna enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Audubon Society and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Left to cherish Buna's memory are her children Carla Wolf and husband Gary of Dennard, Sandi Eskridge and husband Mike of Dennard, Teresa Trammel and husband Phil of Tupelo, MS, Tanya Gardner and husband Michael of Shirley and Dustin Hodges of Shirley. Buna is also survived by her grandchildren Tara Bigelow, Cassandra Ticer, Ashley Watts, Holly Browning, Haylen Trammel, Colt Horton, Logan Scott, Kyle Trammel, Garin Gardner and Jennifer Scott; siblings Alvin C. Honeycutt, Jr. of Florida, Lyn Jordan of Washington, Wayne Jordan of Florida, and Lanora Honeycutt of Kansas. Buna is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, dear friend Sue Hodges-Bolin and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Buna was preceded in death by her father Alvin Charles Honeycutt, Sr.; mother Joyce Tilley Honeycutt; son Joseph Edward Sikes; and brother Alvin Eldridge Honeycutt.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
