Robert Lee Gruber, 91, of Greers Ferry, Arkansas, passed away November 21, 2017. Born June 24, 1926, in Decatur, Illinois to the late Orlin and Mary Bertle Gruber. Robert served in the United States Navy in WWII and was an artist by trade. He was also a member of Holiday Hills United Methodist Church. Robert enjoyed painting and fishing.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, David and wife Sharon Gruber of Maumelle, AR, Deborah Pearce of Australia, Carol and husband Scott St. John of Monticello, AR; grandchildren, Lisa Ann, Sarah Anne, and Anna Kate; great grandchildren, George, Cora Rose, Adelia, Jordan , Angelina, and many nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 66 years, Dora Gruber; siblings, Teddy Gruber and Donald Gruber.
A memorial service will be held at the Holiday United Methodist Church, Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 3pm with Revered Dan Brand officiating.
The family wishes that memorials be made to the Fairfield Bay Ambulance fund.
