Dorothy Joanne Hicks, 95, of Fairfield bay, AR, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017. she was born September 24, 1922 in Stuttgart, AR to the late Harry Nelson and Ethel Isabelle Almond Wilcox. Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of Holiday Hills Methodist Church. She enjoyed needle point, crosswords and reading.
Left to cherish her memory is her children, Joanne and husband Ray Nieder of Estes Park, CO, Carolyn Bristol of Greers Ferry, AR; grandchild , Whitney Heath of Corinth, TX; great grandchildren, James Heath; sister-in-law Rusty Copeland; brother-in-law, Bobby Hicks and many friends and other family members.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvin Hicks; sibling, Frances Kinder; son-in-law Ted Bristol.
There is no service set at this time.
