Obituary for Randle Rodgers

Randle "Duke" Aaron Rodgers, 84,of Shirley, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018. Born May 28, 1933 in Romance, Arkansas to Benny and Molly Vickers Rodgers. Randle served in the United States Air Force and was a part of the Korea Conflict. He was a pipe fitter by trade and helped build the Alaskan Pipeline. Randle was a member of the Eglintine Church of Christ; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, loved to tell stories and most of all he loved his kids and grandkids.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Ernestine Rodgers of the home; children, Katherine Rodgers of Shirley, AR, Carolyn Rodgers of Rector, AR, Randle D. Rodgers of Conway, AR, Lonnie Rodgers of Conway, AR, John and wife Sommer Rodgers of Guy, AR, Erick and wife Ashley Rodgers of Guy, AR, William Rodgers of Shirley, AR, Kris Rodgers of Oil Trough, AR, Kyria Shinaver of Cave City, AR, Brenda Rodgers of Oil Through, AR, Eddie Warden of Shove It, AR; siblings, Aubrey Rodgers of Jonesboro, AR and four brothers; grandchildren, Liam Rodgers, Braden Rodgers, Jaden Rodgers, Sia Rodgers, Mary Barton, Jessica King, Benjamin King, Nathaniel King, John Rodgers, J.J. Shinaver; great grandchildren, Jack Maybry, Nora, Nathan, Charles, Alex King; many nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.
Randle is preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.
Services will be held February 10, 2018, 1pm, at the Eglintine Church of Christ.
