Ruby Sheets, 81, of Clinton, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018. Born January 4, 1937 in Shirley, Arkansas to the late Delbert Sheets and Myrtle Vaughn Sheets Burgess. Ruby was a member of Clinton Church of Christ. She enjoyed sewing and gardening.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Bobby and wife Anita Goodnight of Clinton, Norma and husband Bobby Pitcher of Malvern, Betty Goodnight of Paducah, Kentucky, Rosetta Goodnight of Shirley, Patricia and husband Janson Cullum of Moody, Missouri, Wanda and husband Leonard Holley of Clinton; siblings, Tomey Sheets, Mary Bramlett, Eddie Sheets, Steve Burgess, Hershel Burgess, Buddy Joe Burgess, Linda Mote, Glinda Berry, Phillip Burgess; 25 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, 9 great- great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.
Ruby is preceded in death by her parents; one child, Jimmy Goodnight; siblings, Troy Sheets, Houston Sheets, Ruth Gardner; one grandson, Bobby Smith.
Services will be held Saturday, February 24, 2018, 2 o’clock at the Half Moon Church. Burial will follow at the Half Moon Cemetery.
