Gwen Helen Dickinson, 94, of St. Joe, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018. Born October 6, 1923 in Smithfield, North Carolina to the late Robert and Martha Midert Bunsen. Gwen was a homemaker. She was also a member of the TOPS club, the Red Hat Society and VFW ladies auxiliary; and enjoyed hobbies such as quilting, crafts, and built Liberty Ships WWII Kiser Steel.
Left to cherish her memory is her children, Charles Dickinson of Gilbert, Arkansas, Patricia Dickinson Wirth of Ft. Worth, Texas, James Dickinson of Ingleside, Illinois; grandchildren, Savannah Hollowell, Sophie Hollowell, Christopher Bly, David Nathanel Wirth; great grandchildren, Katie, David.
Gwen is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Dickinson; one sibling, Virginia Lumbeck.
Services will be held Sunday, June 3, 2018, 2pm, at the First United Methodist Church in Marshall, with Brother Mike officiating.
