Jane F. Chism Jones, 73, of Shirley, passed away May 30, 2018. She was born in Forrest City, Arkansas to Fate and Lela Mae Johnson Chism. She worked for Elgin watch and Elgin casket companies before retirement. Jane enjoyed crocheting, fishing, making ceramics and gardening.
Left to cherish Jane’s memory are her children Teresa J. Jones, Bobby L. Jones, Rodney L. Jones, Robby L. Jones, Shannon L. Jones and Steven S. Jones. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jason Jones, Jeff Jones and Johnny Jones, Spencer Jones, Krysty Jones, Bobby Jo Jones, Terra Jones, Dovanna Jones, Diamond Jones, Lucas Jones, Tiffany Jones, Dillon Jones, Felisha Jones, Robby Jones, Jr., Maddie Jones, Cerria Stillson Jones, Paige Jones and Carter Jones; 20 great-grandchildren; and brother Jimmy Chism of Pocahontas, AR. Jane is also survived by her partner Robert Johnson, many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents, Fate Chism, Lela Mae Johnson Ard; siblings, Bobby Joe Chism, Judy Carol Chism Sykes, Henry “Rocky” Chism.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 5, 2018, from 5pm to 8pm at the Clinton Funeral Service Chapel. Services will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2018, 10am at the Clinton Funeral Service Chapel; Pastor Bob with Hospice will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Eglantine Cemetery.
