Childhood

Thought I'd share a story of the first time I met Jeff. It was fifth grade an my first year at Shirley school, Mr. Gam mil was looking for a class to place two students in and the students were me and Jeff. We were both placed in Mrs Gardners class, then somehow ended up in Mr Nichols class. Throughout grade school we hung out and of course had our disagreements like most kids do, but he did always have a good heart. After high school I didn't see much of him but when I did he was always asking how I was and if he saw my sister he'd always ask her how I was. One memory that stands out was in 6th grade and me, Jeff and Dale Lewis got in trouble for doing something stupid and were in the principals office and Mr Gammil just staring at us, and us trying to keep a straight face wasn't easy when we busted out laughing. An I remember Jeff saying "dang it David!" But I'm glad to have memories of him throughout my youth. It's a shame he had to leave this world so soon and my heart goes out to all his family and friends. Rest in Peace Jeff, you'll be missed by many. ⛪️
