Sonnie Faire Phillips, 81, of Heber Springs, passed away January 18, 2019. She was born in Oklahoma on June 13, 1937 to Sonny and Madelyn Wilkerson Rose. Sonnie attended Fellowship Baptist Church and enjoyed crocheting, coloring, quilting and fishing. Sonnie married Cleve Phillips on September 12, 1954 and they enjoyed 64 years of marriage together.
Sonnie is survived by her husband, Cleve Phillips of Heber Springs, daughters Deborah Felton and husband Donnie of Yellville, AR and Connie Joy and husband Kenny of Heber Springs, AR. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Sonnie was preceded in death by her father Sonny Rose, mother Madelyn Wilkerson Rose and 5 siblings.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Heber Springs Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Darriel Ezell officiating. A reception will follow at the home of Kenny and Connie Joy at 2401 Elmwood Drive, Heber Springs, AR.
